Helping developers strengthen their code


Toaster was challenged with designing a brand identity and developing a marketing landing page in order to build awareness around Google’s new developer tool called Learn Web Tech. This product was created to reduce developer learning barriers by providing a one-stop location for them to find everything they need to practice building strong code. That includes easy setup, all necessary installations and skill development through real-world coding challenges.


Our team designed a brand identity that established consistency across the product through iconography, language, and overall look and feel. We created a distinct product icon, type treatments with wordmark lockups, color palette, and illustration style that we turned into the official brand guidelines for Learn Web Tech. Following our brand guidelines, we developed every aspect of a responsive landing page, spanning from wireframes and copy through design and code, for an experience that’s vibrant, recognizable and easy to follow.
