Challenge
Robinhood made its name in Silicon Valley as one of the first commission-free investment platforms. Their product has a simple, user-centric interface that makes investing easy, even for beginners who want to buy cryptocurrency. However, their website lacked this same intuitive and energetic feeling.
Approach
With a fragmented user experience and a loosely designed visual aesthetic, Robinhood asked Toaster for help with a redesign. We worked with the product marketing team to streamline the UX and design a unique (FINRA-approved) website. Our work included site architecture, content strategy, illustration, icon system design, UI design, and prototyping.
Results
The ultimate result was an exciting yet reassuring experience for investment customers to learn about the array of Robinhood products and services.
