Toaster EMEA: 2023 Year in Review

What a time to be alive! We come to the end of 2023 with a feeling of gratitude for the opportunities we’ve had this year and the people who’ve made the journey with us 🙏🙏🙏

It’s been a year of change for our London studio, with myself joining as MD in January and Helen joining over the summer as Head of Production. We also look forward to welcoming an old friend, David Plunkett, as Technical Director from January.

The team has been hard at work, collaborating with one another across sofas, chatbots and timezones. Our favourite earth-friendly campaign of the year, ChromeOS Flex, secured 2 award wins for us. 🏆🏆

We strengthened our B2B experience with the rebranding and website launch of Matrix42. Our relationship with Google continues to grow across teams, supporting campaigns, event collateral and storytelling in EMEA and globally with our sister studios.

We’re excited about the upcoming year of creative firepower (read: dragon 🐉) grounded in focused strategies and authentic communities. As we wind down, reflect and rest, we send many warm wishes to you and your families.

Said hello to new faces in our EMEA Leadership team

We were delighted to expand our leadership team through the year, appointing Joann DeLanoy as Managing Director, Helen-Tucker Lalloo as Head of Production, and David Plunkett as Technical Director.

Got our boots on the ground beach

We made a trip down to the south coast to participate in a Beach Clean volunteer day in Brighton. Not only did we learn about the many different ways in which our beaches and oceans can be impacted by litter and pollution we managed to collect 1004 litter items in 45 minutes. Not bad for a day out!
