You are a wordsmith: you love to write in English. Long copy, short copy, catchy headlines, high concepts, clear websites, enticing brands, frictionless product copy and everything else that comes along.

You are a technophile: you love to stay at the cutting edge of technology, and the interactions between behaviour, culture and digital platforms and products. Someone with a keen interest in the future.

You’re a natural entrepreneur and collaborator: you’re equally happy working in a creative team to brainstorm a campaign as you are working with designers and developers to build a new product - or working alone to write a brand strategy / concept an engaging campaign.

  • Bring to life, through the written word, the concept, and execution of integrated, cross-channel initiatives – including large web initiatives, online advertising & digital marketing.
  • Meaningfully contribute to the ideation and conceptualisation of marketing and content ideas.
  • Understand the needs, motivations, and aspirations of your audiences, so that you can speak to them in the most effective, compelling, and engaging way possible.
  • Actually write — be able to write compelling and grammatically clean English in long-form website copy, engaging scripts and effective headlines, taglines, and calls to action.
  • A love of collaborating with your team members – creative directors, art directors, designers, coders, and other equally talented team mates – to consistently deliver polished, award-worthy work
  • Leverage and optimise relevant resources, and ensure that projects stay on brief.
  • Attend project briefing meetings, or project kick-offs, where required.
  • Question briefs where appropriate – providing extra value and pushing for the most effective solutions.
  • Tailor the content and style of individual writing assignments according to their purpose - whether they are intended to sell or inform.
  • Research your client's industry and their audience.
  • Clearly present your work to your peers and clients, through clear, concise decks and virtual presentations.
  • Work with your team to review the impact your work has had.
  • Assist with business pitches to win new clients or projects.
  • Be proactive and self-determined.


  • Fluent English speaker and writer
  • A minimum of 5 years experience working in a Copywriter role in a digital/integrated agency
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of current technologies and products influencing the creative landscape
  • Experience of working with g-suite (Google docs, drives, slides) would be a bonus
  • Awards and industry recognition would be a bonus
  • A well-rounded portfolio that speaks for itself
