Finance Manager, Singapore

The role

You will be responsible for the day-to-day office and finance administration for Toaster Singapore. You will be working directly with our Regional Managing Director and the account management team in Singapore along with the Global Finance team based in our Global Headquarters in London.

In addition to the skills required below, being proactive and able to bring new ideas to the team are highly valuable qualities for the position, which also requires the ability to work independently. You will as part of the role, deal with highly sensitive confidential information on a daily basis, therefore it is fundamental to have a high sense of discretion.

Please note, Toaster Singapore is working remotely until further notice. This role would support both full-time (5 days per week) and part-time (3-4 days per week), please state your preference in your application.


  • Being the first point of contact and manage all issues with Toaster contractor invoices, cross check on our project management system against timesheets recorded and provide invoices to Global Finance for processing and payment.
  • Control of all production and 3rd party costs/invoices, ensuring they have been logged on the project management system (ScreenDragon) and Project Lists worksheets (Liaise with Account Management / Production team where necessary).
  • Liaise with Regional MD and the Client for overdue POs for billing, along with communicating current PO status with Global Finance.
  • Chasing overdue client Invoices & liaise with clients to resolve issues.
  • Assist in the booking of travel and accommodation for team members where applicable.
  • Assist in award entry bookings and payments.
  • Review and helping to manage budgets
  • Liaise with the current payroll providers in ensuring payroll is on time and accurate and completed in a timely manner.
  • Be the point of contact for the audit of the Singapore accounts
  • Assisting with the GST registration process and subsequent management of the filings and any queries.
  • Support HR and management on applications and reporting to Government Employment Ministries, e.g. Ministry of Manpower.


  • Part or fully qualified Accountant
  • At least 3 years experience in a finance/accounting role
  • Experience working with Singapore tax and financial audit requirements is essential
  • Experience working in an advertising/creative agency is desirable
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong organisation and time management skills
  • Confident communicator as this role will involve working with multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to self manage and motivate as this role will involve remote working
  • Familiarity with Google suite, Xero and Screendragon is desirable
